The Vallivue School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Behavior Intervention (BI) Specialist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with students to support their behavioral and academic success.
Position Details
- Location: Desert Springs Elementary School
- Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a human services-related field (e.g., education, psychology, sociology, etc.).
- Certification:
- Must possess an Habilitative Intervention (HI) Certificate or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certificate.
- A free 40-hour online course is available to obtain a Certificate of Completion if needed.
- Experience: Resume must document at least 1,040 hours of experience working with students.
- Physical Requirements: Must have no lifting restrictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to implement behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Provide consistent support to help students achieve their academic and social goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required.
