What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extended Resource High School Teacher at Vallivue High School position at Vallivue School District?
Greetings,
I just wanted to let you know of a great teaching opportunity available in one of the best districts in the Treasure Valley. What makes Vallivue great? We have a very supportive, collaborative school district with two board members who have children with special needs. The district is committed to lower case management numbers and for doing what is best for students. We access a retired teacher to help with academic achievement testing when needed as well as provide for paperwork days for our special education teachers to assist them. Our high schools are recognized by Washington Post as top high schools and Sage Valley Middle School is a national demonstration school for AVID. Vallivue has two full time consulting teachers and has 10 school psychologists and 10 SLPs for 13 school building sites so staff are very supported and have much access to professionals. Each school has a set meeting day so that IEP and Eligibility meetings are held during school hours on that day with substitute teachers arranged. We have four professional development days where staff earn university credit that we host within the district geared towards the specific needs of our special education teachers. Vallivue School District truly cares about its teachers and students!
