Job Details
Title: Revit/BIM Designer
Job Type: Fulltime
location : Manhattan NY 3 days office 2 days Remote
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D Revit models for MEP systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across projects.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate MEP designs into building models.
Create and modify Revit families to suit project needs.
Project Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure BIM deliverables align with project goals and deadlines.
Conduct clash detection and resolution in coordination with other disciplines using BIM tools.
Software Management:
Keep up-to-date with the latest Revit and BIM software updates, and recommend improvements to enhance the workflow and efficiency of the team.
Assist in the implementation of BIM processes and standards within the firm.
Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
Assist with client presentations and meetings, helping to communicate MEP design solutions through Revit models and BIM visualizations.
Project Lifecycle Support:
Support projects through all phases, from conceptual design to construction, ensuring seamless integration of MEP systems within the BIM environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Experience:
3 years of experience in Revit and BIM design, with a focus on MEP systems in an engineering or architectural environment.
Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and their integration within building systems.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
