Real Estate Paralegal – Renewable Energy
Vallum Associates are partnered with a growing renewable energy developer seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support its legal team in their NYC office (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Reporting to the Senior Real Estate Paralegal and working under attorney supervision, this role will assist with real estate transactions throughout the project lifecycle, from site acquisition to financing, construction, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Title & Due Diligence: Order and review title searches, commitments, and surveys; draft title curative documents; maintain internal title trackers and coordinate with title companies.
- Document Preparation: Draft and revise real estate agreements, including lease options, purchase options, and easements.
- Transactional Support: Assist in due diligence for financing and M&A transactions, ensuring accuracy and clarity in real estate documentation.
- Administrative Support: Manage document execution, storage, and organization.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Litera is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in a collaborative environment.
