Responsibilities
The Account Manager at Valmet will sell new Tissue Converting equipment, Aftermarket Tips and Modifications. The Account Manager will be responsible for multiple customers. It is expected that the Account Manager develops a “strategic plan” for each account and continuously challenges the status quo and innovates to further the relationship with the account. Frequent reviews with key customer contacts discussing needs, performance, and industry trends will be expected
Requirements
- Self-motivated, engaged, passionate individual (#1 characteristic required).
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience in the workplace / industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with diverse cross functional teams.
- Analytical process skills in regard to projects/programs.
- Experience with general root cause analysis and rapid problem solving.
- Able to prioritize and work through busy schedules.
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, as well as detailed machine documentation.
- Bachelors, Technical Degree, or similar workplace experience
- 5 years industry experience is preferred.
- Willing to travel 25-40% within North America and Italy
