Job Description:
We are responsible for designing and implementing proprietary manufacturing equipment projects to meet global production needs. This includes full project management, from conceptual development to fabrication drawings, procurement, manufacturing oversight, testing, and O&M documentation.
You will participate in conceptualizing, designing, and developing manufacturing equipment to meet global performance and quality needs.
- Create detailed 3D models, perform functional simulations, and verify design feasibility.
- Conduct risk assessments for design and manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet product specifications and standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure proper process, equipment, and project documentation is captured and stored digitally.
- Analyze costs, labor, and materials to identify cost reduction opportunities across projects.
- Monitor equipment performance post-implementation and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability.
We require travel up to 10%, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel.
Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical degree with equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering/machine design required.
- Construction / Machinery Project Management experience leading teams & managing vendors as a project manager and/or project team leader.
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor.
- Well-versed in robotics (Fanuc/Yaskawa/Kuka/Nachi).
- Proficient designing/programming/troubleshooting PLC Hardware & Software (i.e. Control Logix 5000, Factory Talk Studio, etc.).
- Ability to travel up to 10%, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel.
