Valor Hospitality Partners seeks an experienced Hotel Operations Director to support the leadership team at Tapestry Hotel at Somerset Hills, a Hilton brand. This role is responsible for maintaining constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper hotel operations.
The Hotel Operations Director's purpose is to maintain a positive and safe environment for all associates as stated in the Valor Foundation document.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a large team within a time-sensitive environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
- Adhere to all written mandatory standards of operations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the hotel is not placed in a position of liability by acts of negligence or poor management decisions.
- Develop associates for career advancement using Performance Review Systems, Cross Training, and Development Planning.
- Maintain exceptional guest relations by creating a quality environment through staffing, programming, service operations, and maintenance.
Required Skills:
- Previous hotel management experience, preferably with Hilton.
- Experience with vendor relationships.
