Tapestry Hotel at Somerset Hills- a Hilton brand, is hiring an operations Manager to support the leadership team
The Operations Managers’ purpose is to maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the hotel. Ensuring a positive and safe environment for all associates as stated in the Valor Foundation document. Fiscal responsibility encompasses managing the day-to-day labor and direct expenses ensuring the hotel meets financial expectations to ownership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
- Adhere to all the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all which go to make up the essential functions.
- Ensure the hotel is not placed in a position of liability by acts of negligence or poor management decisions.
- Develop associates for career advancement using Performance Review Systems, Cross Training, and Development Planning.
- Ensure all Hotel Policies & Procedures are adhered to and ensure all hotel associates are accountable for compliance of these Policies & Procedures.
- Maintain exceptional guest relations by creating a quality environment through staffing, programming, service operations, and maintenance.
