Description
The Tool Room Attendant will manage the inventory and maintenance of tools and equipment in the medical device manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Issue tools and equipment to employees, recording the information to accurately track items.
- Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage or wear, ensuring they are in good working condition prior to being reissued.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and operational.
- Organize and maintain tool room inventory, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly and are easily accessible.
- Order new tools and equipment as needed, keeping track of inventory levels to ensure the tool room is well stocked.
- Conduct audits of tool room inventory, disposing of obsolete or broken tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in a tool room or manufacturing plant.
- Quality Control experience is preferred.
- Experience with tool repair is a plus.
- CNC programming is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move freely around the facility.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Frequent lifting up to 50lbs.
