Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Manage case management processes, ensuring that all resident needs are met effectively.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care provided.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to facilitate effective communication with staff and residents.
- Ensure proper shift management to maintain adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Advocate for resident rights, ensuring that all individuals receive respectful and dignified care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans for residents.
Qualifications
- Three to four years of experience in Surgical Services & Prior Management Experience
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Must have an understanding of, and experience in central processing, sterilization and decontamination procedures.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certification & Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
