Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings. Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessment findings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Ensure compliance with sterile processing protocols and infection control measures.
- Provide emergency medical interventions when necessary, particularly in critical situations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient safety and care outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Experience Required for RN Resident: Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less
- Experience Required for Acute Care RN: At least 1 year of Nursing experience
