The IT Project Manager Sr is responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of IT-enabled projects. This role will take ownership for meeting project objectives to include scope, time, quality, and budget targets. Responsibilities include client management, resource planning, requirements gathering, developing / maintaining project plans through all phases of project.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Under limited supervision, plans, implements and executes / oversees IT-enabled projects on time within budget and within scope. Responsibilities include defining and analyzing requirements; developing / maintaining project plans and documentation; managing project budget, capital and expenses; managing quality through acceptance testing; and leading post project evaluation sessions.
Works with client and project stakeholders; analyzes project risks / problem and works with leadership to identify solutions.
Works closely with project team members and third-party resources to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Support high-level planning and scheduling for approved and highly likely road map projects.
Develop and implement programs and project management methodology that is flexible, appropriately manages risk and leads to successful implementation of projects.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline Global Operations from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You’ll Need
This role will be based out of Lexington, KY on a hybrid schedule. It will be in office Tuesday-Thursday each week.
Education Required :
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or related field.
Experience Required :
Minimum of three years of experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
What will set you apart :
PMP, Scrum or similar certifications desired.
Basic understanding of project management methodologies is required.
Intermediate experience leading, facilitating, and motivating teams for large-scale IT projects required.
Intermediate understanding and experience working with business units in achieving their goals required.
Intermediate organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills required.
Intermediate verbal, written and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization required.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Project, Visio
Intermediate experience with SAP is preferred.
