Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Provide guidance and support to nursing personnel
- Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols and standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Assist in discharge planning and patient education
- Manage emergency situations effectively, including airway management and ventilator support
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
- Coordinate care for patients across various specialties including cardiac catheterization, emergency medicine, behavioral health, and trauma care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in catheter care and other nursing procedures
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center operations is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $62.44 - $64.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
