JOB OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for an HR Business Partner to support various business units by partnering with our managers and ensuring alignment between business operations and HR practices/objectives. The HRBP will have a keen understanding of the business’s strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide decision-making. The HRBP provides consulting and coaching to departmental leaders to support the business’s vision, mission, and overall objectives.
The HRBP is also responsible for delivering a comprehensive and customer-driven people service, aligning both people management and organizational strategies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates effective implementation of new HR initiatives in different departments and levels of the business as appropriate.
- Ensures alignment between HR strategies and the existing business’s policies, procedures, and culture.
- Collaborates with the HR Business Partner team in developing and applying changes to strategies, implementations, and established programs.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts prompt, effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Manages and assists with communication between management and employees concerning workplace decisions, conflicts, investigations, and issues related to Human Resources.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) and works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Coaches and guides Managers when issues arise, developing their capability of handling various employee situations and supporting them as they mentor their staff.
- Collaborates with the business and the HR Training & Development team to identify training needs and to champion various training initiatives to help our culture flourish.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition to communicate departmental hiring needs and to assist in designing, developing, and executing full-cycle recruitment plans and sourcing strategies to achieve staffing goals and overall business objectives. Ensures effective communication.
- Assist managers by engaging internal and external resources to improve their teams’ knowledge and skills.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of progressive Human Resources/Human Capital experience preferably with a growing company.
- Experience with Workday (preferred).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources.
- Effective and positive oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Bi-lingual – English and Spanish; oral (in both 1:1 meetings and group settings) and written with the ability to translate documents.
- Superior employee relations and influencing skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate with employees, colleagues, and all levels of management courteously and professionally.
- Strong analytical, organizational, management, and leadership skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to provide constructive and candid feedback about employee performance as necessary.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple large-scale projects simultaneously with minimal supervision through multi-tasking and prioritization.
- Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain the highest confidentiality.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Problem-solver who uses critical thinking and good judgment.
- Curiosity for site-specific business processes and ability to integrate business acumen with HR strategy.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Human Resources, or a related degree.

- Expected Pay Range: $67k-78k, salary exempt
