We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume. Duties include: maintain a professional relationship with current and prospective customers by meeting with them one on one, utilizing company specialists, vendors, and brokers and sampling of products to provide and demonstrate available products to customers, manage account receivables for all customer accounts and ensure cash receipts and deposit slips are handled according to Company policy. This position will service the Indiana/ Michigan communities in and around Northern Indiana (South Bend, Goshen, Elkhart,) and Southern Michigan (Niles, etc.).

The right candidate for this position will have:

  • Strong Foodservice Sales experience
  • A strong desire to sell and work on a commission basis
  • Excellent driving record
  • Great communication and organizational skills

This Career Opportunity is in Foodservice selling to the Hospitality Industry in Northern Indiana. We are looking for an individual who has sold to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs of medium to large businesses. You must have sold against heavy competition and sold at a higher price. You must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer. You should be creative and a good problem solver. Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful.
