Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept
Aircraft Maintenance: Perform inspections and maintenance on demo fleet aircraft, including oil changes and repairs.
Prototype Fabrication: Create prototype parts, assemblies, and tooling; applying your creativity and experience to refine and improve concepts as they are brought to market.
Documentation: Develop and validate customer documentation, including kit assembly methods, instructions and service manuals.
Product Improvement Innovator: Enhance existing products by designing and implementing manufacturing fixtures and tools.
Shop Management: Maintain organization and functionality in the prototype shop.
Team Player Extraordinaire: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.
What You Bring To The Team
Aviation Experience: Inspect, maintain, and repair piston engine aircraft.
Fabrication Skills: Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and repair techniques.
Composite Knowledge: Basic understanding of fiberglass and composite fabrication, with an emphasis on artistic finish work for production tooling.
Welding Proficiency: Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
Self-Motivated Spirit: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Aviation Enthusiast: A passion for aviation and basic aerodynamic knowledge.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and accuracy in all tasks.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tech Savvy: Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications That Will Make You Shine
A & P License: Airframe & Powerplant certification preferred.
Engine Experience: Experience with Lycoming and Rotax heavy maintenance.
Pilot Interest: Pilot license or desire to pursue piloting.
Experimental Aircraft Enthusiast: Experience with experimental aircraft, particularly RVs.
Machining Skills: Familiarity with machine shop tools, including CNC routers, Mills, Lathes.
Technical Communication Pro: Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly for kit builders.
