Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept
- Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Identify, analyze, and resolve design and manufacturing challenges to ensure high-quality products.
- Quality Assurance Champion: Evaluate non-conforming parts and processes to maintain functionality and compliance, ensuring our products meet rigorous standards.
- Material Specialist: Assess obsolete materials and components, sourcing replacements that meet our quality and performance criteria.
- Testing Innovator: Develop and execute engineering validation test programs in accordance with industry standards (Military, SAE, RTCA DO-160) to validate product performance.
- Collaboration Enthusiast: Participate in both internal and external testing efforts, ensuring thorough evaluation and documentation of results.
- Tolerancing Expert: Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure our designs function as intended.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Perform MTBF calculations for legacy and modified components, helping to drive improvements.
- Communication Pro: Prepare documentation and engage with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and customers to address technical inquiries and modifications.
- Mentor & Trainer: Share your knowledge by training production associates and guiding interns and new engineers in best practices.
- Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, supporting and resolving 8D problem-solving investigations to enhance overall quality.
- Engineering Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and understand engineering prints, GD&T, routings, and bills of materials.
- Standards Savvy: Familiarity with Engineering Aerospace Standards and Specifications (MIL, SAE, RTCA, International (EN)).
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to collect and interpret data for effective problem-solving.
- Material Knowledge: Solid understanding of the mechanical and electrical properties of engineering materials.
- Process Expertise: Broad knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and testing processes, including tooling and equipment.
- Cost Estimation: Ability to provide accurate estimates for components, assemblies, and tooling.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, and 8D problem-solving techniques.
- Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
