Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Social Media Marketing Manager to take charge of client accounts, lead content strategy, and drive engagement and results across multiple platforms. You’ll work with our internal media team to ensure the right content is captured for each brand and collaborate with our OSU marketing interns, who assist with content and account support for smaller clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Onboarding: Collaborate with Account Managers to receive client goals, collect access credentials, and align on campaign direction.
• Account Setup: Manage logins, integrate conversion tracking (e.g., Meta Pixel), and prepare reporting infrastructure.
• Content Coordination: Work with the media team to schedule content capture sessions that align with campaign needs and client goals.
• Content Calendar Creation: Build monthly calendars that include posts, carousels, reels, captions, hashtags, and publishing schedules.
• Ad Campaigns: Develop and manage paid ad campaigns that generate leads and sales based on each client’s objectives.
• Account Management: Maintain consistent branding, grow followers, and drive engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, DMs, and participate in active community building on behalf of clients.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor analytics, generate reports, and optimize strategies for improved ROI.
• Client Communication: Keep clients informed, involved, and satisfied with campaign direction and results.
• Intern Coordination: Oversee and delegate tasks to OSU marketing interns supporting smaller social media accounts.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 3 years of professional experience managing business social media accounts.
• Proven ability to grow social media presence and drive measurable results.
• Strong understanding of Meta platforms, including content strategy and paid advertising.
• Skilled in campaign planning, scheduling tools, and data analysis.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Google Ads or general digital marketing.

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $40,000–$55,000/year (based on experience)
