What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor position at Van Vleck ISD?
Qualifications:
Master's degree in guidance counseling or school administration
Valid Texas counseling certificate or administrator's certificate
Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience
Special knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of career development
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to students, parents, and district staff
Interpret standardized test results and assessment data to guide students in individual goal setting and planning
Salary: Based on teacher salary scale, commensurate with experience
