Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on job sites. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including front loader trucks, cranes, concrete mixers, Caterpillars, bulldozers, dump trucks, backhoes, and roll-off trucks.
- Perform digging and excavation tasks as required by project specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Familiarity with operating front loader trucks, cranes, concrete mixers, Caterpillars, bulldozers, dump trucks, backhoes, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
