We are growing and we are looking for a Coding Specialist to join our team!
You Are:

You Will Make an Impact By:
- Reviewing coding from the electronic health record system for clinic and surgical claims to ensure accuracy, completeness and appropriateness of diagnosis and procedure codes.
- Evaluating surgery schedules, coding them, and billing to appropriate insurance.
- Reviewing different reports and completing monthly audits for all clinics.
- Answering daily incoming patient/internal phone calls and emails coming to the business office.
- Reviewing provider medical records to ensure compliance with established CMS/AMA documentation requirements for CPT and NCCI edits.
- Review insurance denials for possible coding corrections and claims resubmissions.
- Communicating coding and billing-specific deficiencies to various clinical staff.
- Educating and guiding clinical staff on proper documentation and any trends that could cause delay of claim submission.
You Have:
- An associates degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
- Minimum two years in medical coding or equivalent work.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred.
