The VHA works closely with local governments and other community partners throughout Clark County to address issues of affordable housing and homelessness and help families break the cycle of poverty. The FSS Case Manager works directly with residents in the Housing Choice Voucher program, guiding them toward self-sufficiency through education, job training, financial literacy, and career coaching.

- Empower Participants: Work one-on-one with residents to set personal and professional goals, helping them gain the skills, confidence, and motivation needed for long-term success.
- Connect to Resources: Provide referrals to career training programs, financial literacy workshops, self-improvement activities, job counseling, and retention support.
- Foster Strong Partnerships: Build relationships with community organizations, employers, and service providers to expand opportunities for participants.
- Support Lasting Progress: Track individual achievements, adjust plans as needed, and celebrate milestones in each resident’s journey toward self-sufficiency.
- Advocate & Inspire: Be a trusted mentor, coach, and role model, empowering participants to navigate challenges and build a sustainable future.
- Ensure Compliance & Success: Manage program documentation, escrow accounts, and grant reporting, ensuring smooth program operation.
Pay and Benefits
- The starting salary for this position is $23.57 - $25.93 per hour. In compliance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, the full salary range for this position is $23.57 - $33.00 per hour.
- Full-time, non-exempt, union-represented position, working in-person Monday - Friday.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years related experience strongly preferred
- Experience coordinating a case management caseload.
- Demonstrated experience working with low income and vulnerable persons, preferably in information and referral, self-sufficiency programs and/or care coordination.
