The pillars of revenue consist of Design Build, Landscape Management, and Retail experiences.

Landscape Management is poised for growth; with Markets expanding in our demographics and outsourcing of landscape services is seen as a more favorable practice in recent times. This growth and opportunity has created a position on our team for Landscape Management/ Tree Care Sales Representative.

This position is responsible for expanding the Vande Hey Company business plan by growing our Landscape Management/ Tree Care client base. Acquire new leads by networking and prospecting clients who profile our brand and demographic. Present and sell landscape maintenance/ tree care services to new and existing clients.

Landscape, business, and horticultural education or background is preferred.

Sales experience and aptitude is preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Prospect, plan, present, sell, and service existing and new Vande Hey Landscape Management/ Tree Care clients.
  • Visit existing LM/ Tree Care clients to identify potential landscape enhancements and maintenance services
  • Work closely with Sr. Property and Residential Property Managers to provide the highest level of customer service in order to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Identify client concerns and work with team members to resolve client concerns and continually improve internal processes to create efficiencies
  • Develop and implement plans and strategies to attain new clients

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Knowledge and/or experience in horticulture, landscape design and/or construction
  • Degree in horticulture or a related field of study, or equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the landscape industry
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting
  • Desire and ability to work with people.
  • Ability to take initiative and work proactively to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
  • A drive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Effective interpersonal, telephonic, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Must adapt well to change and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
