What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Cochlear Implant Program position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center?
This clinical (non-tenure track), open rank, faculty position requires a Ph.D. in audiology or related hearing sciences, AHSA certification, and eligibility for licensure in Tennessee. Preference will be given to candidates with (1) clinical expertise in working with cochlear implants for adults and/or children; (2) experience in administrative roles in medical settings; and (3) experience in clinical research is desirable.
In addition to ensuring optimal clinical efficiencies, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction, requirements for this position could include clinical service and teaching opportunities at the graduate level.

The Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences is housed on the main medical center campus with multiple satellite clinics in the Nashville metropolitan area.
