Accounting Specialist (HYBRID)

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities
- Review incoming invoices for accuracy and prepare payments for approval/processing.
- Enter payroll data, ensuring accuracy of timesheets and PTO balances.
- Update and maintain accounting journals and ledgers in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile donations, invoices, credit card purchases, and payments with financial records.
- Support monthly closings and billing tasks.
- 2 years of experience supporting accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
- Strong data entry skills for entering payroll data into ERP system.
- Skilled in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, formulas) required; experience with QuickBooks a plus.
- Organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail/accuracy.
- Works well independently and as a team, with solid communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
