Accounts Payable / Billing Specialist (Healthcare)
Our well-established healthcare client seeks a reliable AP / Billing Specialist to support their team! The ideal candidate provides superior customer service and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
Accounts Payable / Billing Specialist Responsibilities
- Perform data-entry to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Process invoices, prepare journal entries, and research/resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Monitor vendor accounts for timely payments; assist vendors with inquiries as requested.
- Support weekly check run activities and ad-hoc reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of collections/invoicing experience within a healthcare-related setting.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with emphasis on customer service.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including intermediate to advanced Excel skills; prior Oracle experience a plus.
- Strong data entry and 10-key skills with attention to detail/accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to quickly learn new processes.
