Accounts Payable Specialist
Our local manufacturing client seeks a customer service-focused Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team! The ideal candidate has a strong background in full-process AP, works well independently, and thrives in a focused, quiet work environment.
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable process, including 3-way matching and reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Set up vendor accounts in SAP, reaching out to vendors to verify necessary information.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing inquiries and managing vendor database.
- Process AP invoices and remittances, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed.
- 1 years of full-process accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency with SAP and Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong knowledge of 3-way matching and general accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
