Licensing and Compliance Manager
Our well-known, global retail client seeks an experienced Licensing Manager to support their team. The ideal candidate is a solid communicator with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Licensing and Compliance Manager Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations for 10-20 licensing partnerships, including both inbound and outbound licensing for key brands.
- Oversee partner onboarding, seasonal product management, and marketing direction, ensuring alignment across product, design, distribution, and marketing.
- Create and manage forecasting, financials (P&Ls, royalties), and business plans, driving growth and monitoring performance against forecasts.
- Support contract execution, amendments, and legal compliance, ensuring accurate reporting, approvals, and royalty payments.
- Act as main point of contact for internal teams and external partners, guiding operations and ensuring adherence to deal terms and contract specifications.
Licensing and Compliance Manager Qualifications
- Senior Account Manager with experience in licensing, project management, and merchandising/consumer products, particularly in the sales category.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with external partners and internal teams.
- Proficient in Excel for light accounting tasks, data analysis, and tracking key metrics.
- General understanding of end-to-end business processes, with a focus on problem-solving and driving results.
- College degree preferred; ability to work in a dynamic, globally responsible, and innovative environment focused on sustainability and diversity.
