Principal Engineer/Architect:
This role is responsible for defining software architecture, driving technical excellence, and co-managing a team of six Software Engineers alongside the Product Verification Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Define and oversee software architecture, ensuring best practices in design and development.
- Software Development: Lead software feature development and drive innovation across the platform.
- Team Management & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, and drive the adoption of best practices.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product owners, product line management, sales, marketing, technical support, and manufacturing to align software development with business objectives.
- Project & Defect Management: Oversee project timelines, conduct code and design reviews, and manage defect triage, reproduction, and resolution.
- Customer & Industry Engagement: Interface with key customers and stay ahead of industry trends to integrate new technologies into the company’s products.
Qualifications:
- 20 years of software engineering experience with expertise in multiple programming languages: C, C , C#, Python.
- Experience across various platforms: Windows, Mac, and embedded systems.
- 20 years of experience in analog and digital signal processing, including assembler-level DSP development.
- Proven ability to lead complex product development integrating hardware, software, and audio signal processing.
- Strong knowledge of standard audio measurements and their implementation.
- Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams and managing technical projects.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a strategic approach to problem-solving and innovation.
