Purchasing / Supply Chain Supervisor

Our well-established manufacturing client seeks a dynamic Purchasing / Supply Chain Supervisor to lead procurement activities and ensure smooth supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in supply chain management, vendor relations, and process optimization, along with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities. Purchasing / Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for materials and services across various departments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of activities, policies, and procedures.
• Handle vendor management, audits, and contract administration.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure supply chain continuity.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficiency in purchasing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Ad-hoc inventory/cost analysis and reporting.
• Some international travel required 1-2x year.
  
  

Purchasing / Supply Chain Supervisor Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing purchasing, with knowledge of contract creation/revision and supplier scorecards/auditing.
• Proficiency with MRP software and familiarity with commodities in various industries.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage vendor relationships/contracts in a complex environment.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Organized with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing and able to travel internationally 1-2 times per year.
  
  

Compensation: $80k $100k (DOE) Bonus
