SAP Consultant:
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to support their upcoming system upgrade and optimize treasury operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring seamless Treasury module functionality, enhancing cash management strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon.
SAP Consultant Responsibilities:
- Assist with the SAP upgrade by testing Treasury processes to ensure system integrity and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Treasury module issues, ensuring smooth post-upgrade functionality.
- Implement key features of the SAP Treasury module that were not included in the initial deployment.
- Optimize the structure of subsidiary bank accounts to enhance cash management within the SAP Treasury module.
- Collaborate with IT, accounting, tax, and legal teams to support treasury-related initiatives.
- Provide guidance on best practices for cash positioning, commercial paper programs, and bank account management.
- Support cash forecasting, monthly and quarterly journal entries, and executive reporting processes.
- Contribute to long-term debt issuance planning and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
SAP Consultant Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with SAP Treasury modules and cash management processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot Treasury module issues within SAP.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams to implement system enhancements and process improvements.
- Familiarity with financial operations, including bank account structures, cash forecasting, and accounting close processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across multiple business functions.
- Previous exposure to regulatory reporting and long-term debt management is a plus.
