Key Responsibilities
- Layout Design
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed layouts for material handling systems, including conveyors, racking systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other related equipment.
- Learn company CAD software (ESOT)
- Create Dynamic blocks
- Create AutoCAD dynamic blocks to utilize in layout operations.
- Sales Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals that highlight the benefits of proposed solutions, including operational improvements.
- Project Management
- Coordinate with cross-functional team, including project managers, engineers to ensure successful implementation of designs and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
- Education
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field).
- Experience
- 2 years experience in layout design or engineering roles, preferably within the material handling or logistics industry.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD software, with the ability to create accurate and detailed layouts, specifically dynamic blocks.
- A familiarity with material handling equipment, including conveyors, automated systems, and storage solutions.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
- Problem-Solving
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically to provide innovative solutions.
