Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resource Business Partner (SHRBP) to join our dynamic team at Vanguard Charitable. The Senior HRBP will act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing expert HR guidance and support to achieve business results. This role requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, exceptional leadership abilities, strategic operations mindset and a strong background in one or combination of non-profit, financial services and/or wealth management sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement Talent strategies that align directly to achieving business objectives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, leadership and organizational development.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including recruitment of top talent, succession and talent management planning, employee and leadership development programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective employee engagement, wellbeing, reward, recognition and retention strategies.
- Manage daily oversight of HR operations, including compensation and benefits administration, compliance, and HR reporting.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver training and development programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Analyze HR data, metrics and trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role.
- Solid technical and business acumen with the ability to process complex data and produce measurable solutions.
- Strong knowledge of modern HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Self-starter, able to prioritize and drive results with urgency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ADP, HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
