What are the responsibilities and job description for the SPRAY OPERATOR position at Vanguard Furniture Co Inc?
Vanguard is in need of a Utility Sprayer that could finish whitewood frames to specified color and/or finish using sealant, lacquer, glaze and/or stain; utilizing knowledge of wood properties and finish.
Job description:
- Can apply lacquer, sealer, glaze, and/or stain to preserve finish.
- Can apply correct finish and/or finishes by following specifications by using a spray gun.
Requirements:
- Must be knowledgeable in finishing processes.
- Must have ability to learn quickly and recognize parts.
- Understand correct placement of parts, right / left sides, front / back.
- English required for reading tickets and instructions.
- Must be able to setup materials in pots.
- Must be able to understand and follow a finish specification for use of correct materials.
