About Us:
Vanguard Medical Group, an independent, physician-owned & -led, primary care group, is actively seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join our dedicated team of medical professionals. This role involves providing medical care to Vanguard patients admitted to the local hospitals.
Location:
- Hawthorne, NJ
- Chilton Hospital
- St Joseph’s Medical Center Paterson
- St. Joseph’s Wayne
Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Rounding and call coverage.
- One weekend per month.
- Rotating holiday coverage

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients admitted to the hospital
- Manage and coordinate patient care in collaboration with other medical professionals
- Ensure adherence to infection control measures
- Utilize data management systems to track patient progress and treatment plans
- Responsible for office call coverage during assigned weekends
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients at once
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals
- Knowledge of ailment and home care
