Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct patientassessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
- Diagnoseand treat acute and chronic medicalconditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostictests suchaslab work and imaging.
- Prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide patient educationand counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Mastersdegree from an accreditedNurse Practitionerprogram.
- ValidNew JerseyAPNlicense.
- Strong communicationandinterpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part ofateam.
- Two years post graduate experience ina PrimaryCarepractice.
- Will consider a recent graduate with prior professional experience in a Primary Care practice as a Scribe or MA.
