Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

• The position will report to the General Manager and the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the operation's financial activities, including:

  • Familiarization of the month end financial reporting procedures
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts for the local and parent companies
  • Providing professional finance support to other specific projects including but not limited to following:
    • Margin review and analysis of project costings
    • Compilation of the strategic, budget and other financial plans
    • Control of cash flow within defined parameters
    • Collections – Past Due and Delinquent invoices
    • Liaison with the company’s payroll and tax consultants

​Qualifications - Education and Experience:

• Preferably have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting duties
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Experience with current computer accounting programs (QuickBooks) and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Be able to demonstrate independent thought, interpret data, provide analysis and provide robust challenges.
• Be computer competent
• Be a team player who can work effectively with all departments within the business.
• Be able to work in a start-up company environment.
• Have experience, knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
