Title: Technical Writer
Location: Frisco, TX Remote only for EST Zone Candidate
Job Summary: SAP Cloud Security Central
GCID SRRC is building a new Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platform for SAP Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security Central. Cloud Security Central will continuously detect security hardening compliance against internal Global Security standards, industry standards, and regulations, ensuring SAP earns and maintains customer trust.
The team for SAP is seeking a Technical Writer, whose responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Product Manager and development team to gain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Creating and updating project documentation within the team's GitHub.
- Creation of project architecture diagrams.
- Creating content and managing the communications channels of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience, specifically in IT or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and diagramming tools such as Visio.
- Experience with markdown languages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a global and virtual team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
- Certification in technical writing or cybersecurity (such as CompTIA Security ).
