Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical lead to join our clients growing team on an initial 12 month contract. This role is responsible for deploying cloud-based infrastructure and delivering technical training services to end-users. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with distributed cloud solutions, ensuring smooth deployments and maintaining up-to-date training content for technical teams. Key Responsibilities
Deployment Services
- Perform software (SW) deployment for distributed cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and onsite teams complete deployment training before service execution.
- Maintain deployment documentation, including deployment trackers and validation checklists.
- Provide on-site support and coordination for cloud software deployment.
- Work with project stakeholders to track progress, manage risks, and update deployment processes as needed.
- Ensure personnel have the necessary travel documentation for deployments.
- Scale deployment operations based on project demand and resource availability.
Training Services
- Deliver technical training programs for end-users on distributed cloud solutions.
- Maintain and update training content as required.
- Manage and operate an Advanced Training Center (ATC) for hosting training sessions, including video-on-demand (VOD) and live demonstrations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Conduct interactive training sessions using hands-on labs, live demonstrations, and practical exercises.
- Collect and analyze trainee feedback to refine training content and methodologies.
Deliverables
- Provide detailed deployment documentation, including signed deployment trackers.
- Conduct and report on business reviews focusing on project performance, risks, quality metrics, and staffing.
- Issue training completion certificates and maintain records of participant progress and training completion rates.
- Provide reports on training attendance, feedback, and overall training effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Strong technical knowledge of distributed cloud environments.
- Experience in conducting technical training sessions and managing training materials.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and handle logistical planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage risk and issue resolution.
- Willingness to travel as needed for on-site deployments and training.
