Stock Clerk

Summary: The Stock Clerk will receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies while compiling stock/clothing records of items in various facilities and warehouses. The Stock Clerk will perform work and procedures in the Central Issue Facility (CIF) and/or the Clothing Initial Issue Point (CIIP).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Issue, turn-in, exchange, and warehouse Army authorized Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) in CIF.
• Restock line stations, unpack and pack excess equipment, inventory and keep training line ready for issue in both CIF and CIIP.
• Assist with the Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging system by operating scanning tables in CIIP.
• Moves merchandise by use of forklift, hand truck, or cart.
• Straightens clothing items after each issue or exchange to give a neat, full, and organized appearance.
• Removes damaged, unserviceable or outdated clothing (Code H) as required.
• Collects issue forms and turns them into the designated location prior to leaving at the end of their assigned shift.
• Interfaces with the Drill Sergeants to ensure the smooth operation of processing soldiers through CIF.
• Willingly works as a team member and fills in at any station in the CIF or CIIP during scheduled work day.
• Performs other duties as assigned to assist in the operation and upkeep of the CIF and CIIP.
• Complies with established work practices and safety procedures. Properly utilizes material safety data sheets (MSDS) to identify chemical hazards and wear/use personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to ensure personal health and safety.
• Provides courteous, efficient, and timely service. Strive to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for extended periods; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must have the capability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Pay: $21.78 per hour
