Warehouse Manager

Van’s Tire Pros is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our wholesale team at our Mogadore Warehouse Facility located at 3833 Mogadore Industrial Pkwy, Mogadore, OH 44260. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory control, and optimizing logistics processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management practices, including transportation management and production planning.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage a team of warehouse workers, assigning tasks, providing training and evaluating performance.

· Monitor employee productivity and address operational issues

· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures in the workplace

· Keep up to date with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards

· Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment including forklifts

· Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to identify discrepancies and address internal issues

· Oversee the receiving process, checking incoming tire shipments for accuracy and quality against purchase orders

· Coordinate transportation management activities to ensure timely delivery of goods

· Work collaboratively with other departments to maximize productivity and performance

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse management (within the tire industry strongly preferred but not required)

· Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

· Expertise in inventory control systems and processes

· Familiarity with warehouse management systems (Wize/Royal 4 a plus)

· Able to work and multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Physical Demands:

· Ability to regularly lift and carry tires up to 80 lbs.

· Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time (up to 10 hours daily)

• Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
