Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a client-focused mindset, and a desire to work in a supportive and innovative law firm. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other complex issues.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for trial.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting discovery requests, responding to discovery, and reviewing documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Provide timely and thorough updates to clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Contribute to firm marketing and business development initiatives by building client relationships and maintaining a visible presence in the legal community.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or pending admission if recently graduated).
• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong understanding of litigation procedures and rules.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.
