What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Controls Engineer position at Vantage Consulting?
I'm hiring for both an experienced Engineer, or a Junior Controls Engineer that has 1-2 years Controls experience, or a degree in Mechatronics and understands the fundamentals of PLC programming.
I'm hiring for a Controls Engineer to work for a bespoke machinery integrator in near Beacon, NY. After visiting them last week, they are working on some really interesting projects and you will gain exposure to other Engineers experience, Vision systems and Robots.
They are looking for their 3rd Engineer to join their Controls team, who will report straight into the CEO of a business that is now generating over $8milllion.
You will be involved in;
Designing and develops all aspects of electrical control systems PLC programming from the ground up
Integration of HMIs, servo controls, robotic motion and vision systems
Must be able to specify electrical components, design and document machine electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD or Solidworks Electrical.
Responsible for the installation in-house and field technical support of PLC based control systems.
Nice to have;
Experienced programming PLCs from the ground up
Panel layout and schematics design
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or in a related
Experience dealing with customers directly
Salary can range from $70,000-$95,000 DOE, 2 weeks vacation, 5 days PTO, Dental / Vision and end of year bonus
