Active Directory Specialist

Job Description:

• Assess current Active Directory infrastructure and develop migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define migration objectives.
• Design Active Directory infrastructure in line with best practices and client needs
• Build and Deploy AD in target environment
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Active Directory architecture, migration plans, and post-migration support processes.
• Design, plan, and execute the migration of users and computers to a new Active Directory environment.
• Configure and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and replication.
• Implement security best practices to protect Active Directory infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members involved in the migration project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 12 years of experience working as an Active Directory Architect or similar role in an enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, including Forests, Domains, Sites, and Trusts.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory migration tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
