About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manufacturing Supervisor/Superintendent to join our team at Insulation Systems Davison's Defiance plant. This individual will play a key role in leading the operations of the Pipe Production Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of hourly and salary employees, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, and production goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with QA, QC, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success in leadership and management roles.
- Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles, with experience in implementing process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
