What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracting Specialist position at Vantage Surgical Solutions?
SUMMARY: Act as support to the contracting team by maximizing processes and handling day-to-day tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage workflow & implementation of proposals for the sales team.
- Lead the creation and revision of contracts for the sales team.
- Create & maintain customer contract work types.
- Initiate contractual annual increases as warranted
- Keep system & hard copy contract files up to date with all documentation.
- Maintain system global accounts and contacts as needed
- HealthTrust Purchasing Group accounts maintenance and contract communication.
- Assist with product set up as needed.
- Performs other office related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma Required.
- Detail Oriented.
- Basic computer operation experience with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, CSR) and proficiency in Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Creative and Flexible. Ability to work independently or as a member of various teams and committees. Organized, self-motivated, and proactive. Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Problem solver and decision-maker who can handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
