Salary Range : $85,000 $110,000 per year
Bonus : $10,500 annual bonus eligible
General Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Compliance, the Manager, Corporate Compliance is responsible for reviewing Client's proposed arrangements with referral sources across the country to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. This role provides compliance guidance regarding federal fraud, waste, and abuse laws and other healthcare regulatory concerns related to Client's dialysis business and associated operations. The position serves as a liaison between internal business clients, legal, and compliance colleagues to maintain low-risk agreements with referral sources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze and apply the Anti-Kickback Statute and other compliance regulations.
Review documentation and proposed referral source arrangements to ensure compliance and fair market value alignment.
Evaluate and approve agreements, including medical director agreements, personal services agreements, transactions, and leases.
Prioritize arrangement reviews and compliance projects based on evolving business needs.
Collaborate with business leaders to align compliance principles with business practices.
Work closely with compliance colleagues, regulatory attorneys, and business stakeholders to resolve compliance matters.
Provide guidance on compliance with federal healthcare laws and regulations.
Manage special compliance-related projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Healthcare industry experience required.
JD, LLM, or MSL preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare legal or compliance roles.
Substantial knowledge of healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse laws , including the Anti-Kickback Statute.
Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with business leaders, legal teams, and compliance personnel.
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Onsite work at Client headquarters required Tuesdays and Wednesdays , with additional days as needed for meetings.
Ability to travel out-of-state at least once per year for conferences.
