Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other vehicle components.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and software.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and electrical systems.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Follow safety procedures and industry standards while performing repairs.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and shop staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Stay up to date with advancements in diesel engine technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred).
- Certification as a Diesel Mechanic (ASE or equivalent) is a plus.
