The Senior Accountant plays a key role in the global accounting close process, internal controls, and reconciliations and may assist other departments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge of the global accounting process, expand into other finance related areas, and use your newfound knowledge to improve processes.
The ideal person for this position will have a demonstrated understanding of corporate accounting with experience in leases, allocations, various accruals, goodwill, intangibles, and intercompany transactions. They will have excellent technical and problem-solving skills, drive and focus on process improvement, and the ability to partner effectively across business functions.
- Assist in the close reporting process ensuring all financial deadlines are met
- Assist in aspects of monthly close, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, monitoring and preparing ad-hoc analyses
- Multi-entity journal entries and reconciliations including, but not limited to leases, cash, accruals, intercompany, allocations, goodwill, & intangibles
- Help with quarterly SEC Reporting, international entities, and/or FP&A, as needed
- Prepare and review internal controls over financial reporting documentation to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (“SOX”) in line with the above processes
- Detailed GL account research to understand and comment on irregular patterns
- Assist with year-end audit, and schedule requests of external auditors
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Drive process improvements, including automation, and work cross-functionally
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Accounting Finance, Business or related
- 8 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience
- Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842)
- Proficient with relevant computer applications: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Must have a strong financial close background
PREFERRED
- CPA license
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with foreign currency accounting and international locations
- Public accounting experience (1 years)

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
