Our client, a designer and manufacturer of components for the global motor vehicle industry, is looking for a Hands-On Design/Test Engineer to join their team in Plymouth, MI, focusing on suspension components.

Responsibilities
The Design/Test Engineer is responsible for managing and driving R&D projects on Suspension Components from ideation to market implementation:
- Manage product specifications and CAD/CAE modeling
- Coordinate parts fabrication and testing for concept validation
- Develop technical benchmark and competitor analysis
- Contribute to idea creation activities and drive new technology
- Support R&D team with development
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an engineering field
- 8 years of experience in automotive suspension product development
- Skilled in 3D CAD programs and structural analysis programs CAE
